The Bigger Picture

A celebration of big global ideas, culture and how to live a good life

7 May 2022 | The REACH at the Kennedy Center & Online

The FTWeekend Festival is a celebration of big ideas, literature and art, food and drink and much more. It is a chance for FTWeekend readers from all over the globe to engage with our journalists and one another, and enjoy a fun, stimulating day of performances, tastings, interviews and debate.

After seven festivals both online and in-person and consistent demand from our Americas audience, we are delighted to launch our first FTWeekend Festival in Washington D.C. Taking place on May 7th, with over 70 internationally regarded speakers offering a global perspective for inquisitive minds peppered with luxury. Previous speakers include co-founder and chairman of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman, CEO of Snap Inc., Evan Spiegel, author, Yuval Noah Harari, fashion designer, Diane Von Furstenberg - along with a whole host of your favourite FTWeekend columnists and editors such as Alec Russell, Gillian Tett, Jancis Robinson, and Rebecca Rose.
